  3. Dallas Cowboys’ Greg Hardy suspended 10 games by the NFL for conduct detrimental to the league.
    • Hardy was arrested earlier in 2014 after reports of him abusing his wife came out. The charges were later dropped.
  4. The Dallas Mavericks ruled out PG Rajon Rondo indefinitely for a back injury.
    • This comes after reports of Rondo wanting the Mavericks organization to choose between either him or HC Rick Carlisle.
    • Rondo is not expected to return to Dallas next season.
