- The Celtics are also resting in preparation for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Playoffs versus Cleveland.
- Final preparations are being made around town for the annual Boston Marathon.
- Bill Belichick celebrated his 63rd birthday as well as 15th anniversary with QB Tom Brady who was drafted 15 years ago to the day.

- Viking’s RB Adrian Peterson has officially been reinstanted by the NFL effective Friday.
- Peterson, who led the league in rushing in 2013, was indefinitely suspended from the NFL after he was charged with multiple instances of child abuse.
- A big question surrounding him now is whether is if he will remain with the Vikings or seek a new team to play for.
- ESPN suspended Britt McHenry for 1 week after her viral video surfaced of her berating a tow-truck employee.
- P.K. Subban will NOT face a suspension after a brutal slash to Mark Stone (OTT).
- Subban recieved a 5-min major and game misconduct and was ejected from Game 1.
- Ottawa coach Dave Cameron will also not be fined for his post-game comments about Subban’s penalty but promises “retaliation”.
